The Urban Settlements about the conservation of this bird. 50% of the sparrow population has declined due to our modern styles of construction i.e. flats. These sparrows are used to live along with human settlements rather than the dense forest lands.

Our new structured houses have no space to accommodate them, as a result their population has declined and we can no longer hear the chirping sounds of these birds that our parents and grandparents have experienced.

Therefore we first create awareness in schools, colleges, and communities after which we also provide specially designed nests for accommodating these sparrows our homes.  This project has been extremely successful and we saw almost 90% nesting in all the nests distributed.
